For measuring the flow of aggressive liquids and gases (by differential pressure)

The FB39 is a compact device, consisting of a plastic orifice plate (nominal diameter DN15 to DN63) and a flange connected flow transmitter without moving parts. Depending on the media the wetted plastic parts are PP or PVDF. Due to its consistency against aggressive media it is used for example in water/wastewater treatment and electroplating applications. The FB39 provides a flow proportional output signal (4-20mA 2-wire) and is optionally equipped with a display and a switching contact. It is rated IP 65 and has a measuring range of upto 40 m3/h

The metering section, consisting of an orifice with differential pressure tapping holes, is grouped together with two pres­sure sensors and the electronics in a joint housing.

The flow-dependent differential pressure arising at the orifice is measured by the two pressure sensors and converted into a standard electronic signal.

Chemically resistant plastics for the com­ponents in contact with the measured medium and the pressure sensors made from highly pure ceramic enable use in plants with aggressive media.
