Kimo Portable Air flow meter (Volumetric, velocity)

Kimo, France offer portable flow meter DBM700 to detect and measure air flow in ducts, vents, HVAC industry and regulate flow.

With its interchangeable hoods the DBM 700 can be adapted to all sizes of grille or diffuser whether it is delivering or extracting air. The KIMO DBM 700 is light and easy to handle ensuring reliable and accurate measurements

Measuring range: 85 – 4000 m3 / hr
Accuracy : ±3% of mesureasuring ±10 m3/h.

Functions:
* Simultaneous display of air flow and temperature.
* Measurement of air delivery or exhaust
* Automatic averaging and point by point averaging HOLD reading function
* Choice of measurement units (m3/h, cfm, l/s)
* RS 232 interface to download data, to PC, for further analysis

KIMO has designed and manufactured the DBM 700 flowmeter to be indispensable to engineers responsible for balancing airflow in air conditioning systems.
With its interchangeable hoods the DBM 700 can be adapted to all sizes of grille or diffuser whether it is delivering or extracting air.
The KIMO DBM 700 is light and easy to handle ensuring reliable and accurate measurements. The standard DBM 700 is supplied with a 700 x 700 mm hood,
accessories, calibration certificate, in a protective carrying case.

Principle of Operation

The airflow is sampled by 30 sensing points evenly positioned over the flow area, thus delivering the mean air velocity to the hotwire sensing element and thermal compensator at the centre of the instrument, where the flow is measured.

  • Range: 85 to 4000 m3/h
  • Accuracy: 3% of reading ±10 m3/h
  • Resolution: 1 m3/h

TEMPERATURE

  • Range: 0 to 50°C
  • Accuracy: 2% of reading ±0,1°C
  • Resolution: 0.1°C
